Terms & Conditions

As a Wienerberger roofing customer, your Company or Business (“Business”) has been invited to participate in the VIP Rewards Scheme 2021 (“VIP Rewards”). VIP Rewards will form part of the VIP Club, which will be exclusive to a selected number of key Wienerberger customers. VIP Rewards presents your Business with the opportunity to qualify for an amazing experience.

  1. VIP Rewards will run from 1st January 2021 to 31st December 2021 (“Scheme Period”).

  2. The opportunity to be involved with VIP Rewards is strictly by invitation only from an appointed representative of Wienerberger Limited.

  3. VIP Rewards is only for your Business and is non-transferable.

  4. Businesses invited to join VIP Rewards will have the chance to qualify for one of three rewards on offer, relevant to the Scheme Period.

  5. No cash alternatives are available for the rewards. Rewards are non-transferable and no part or parts of the activities may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions or price reductions. No refunds will be available from either Wienerberger or our selected third party agency or suppliers.

  6. Initial targets are set by Wienerberger and cannot be changed during the Scheme Period.

  7. An update on your Company’s achievement will be posted monthly via the VIP Rewards web portal and communicated monthly via email. Wienerberger will endeavor to ensure the web portal is available to view at all times subject to conditions beyond our control

  8. Following the end of the VIP Rewards Scheme Period, if your Company has qualified for the chosen reward, you will be sent a communication by our third-party rewards agency confirming that your Company has qualified.

  9. If your Company reaches or exceeds its purchasing target within the Scheme Period, your company will be able to apply to upgrade to the next reward level available if appropriate as set out within the target framework agreed at the outset of the Scheme Period. Any final decision will be at the sole discretion of Wienerberger Limited.

  10. Your Company’s purchasing target is for purchases excluding VAT.

  11. Only product that has been physically delivered to your company will qualify for VIP Rewards.

  12. Qualifying purchases within the VIP Rewards Scheme Period are non-refundable after 31st December 2021.

  13. If, due to unforeseen circumstances product becomes unavailable during the Scheme Period, your targets will be subject to review; any resulting changes to your target will be confirmed to you in writing by Wienerberger Limited.

  14. It is the responsibility of all participating companies to inform Wienerberger in writing of any changes to your contact details as soon as they happen. These must be emailed to vipwienerberger@xsem.co.uk.

  15. Wienerberger reserves the right to immediately withdraw your Company’s or the Attendees’ participation in VIP Rewards or withdraw your Company’s or the Attendee(s)’ entitlement to the event (without liability or compensation) if:

  16. Your Company or the Attendee(s) are in breach of any of their respective obligations, representations and/or warranties under these Terms and Conditions;

  17. Your Company’s account is in arrears with Wienerberger;

  18. Your Company ceases to trade at any point during the Scheme Period;

  19. Wienerberger (in its sole discretion) considers that your Company is likely to, or otherwise finds out that it has, misused VIP Rewards in some way, e.g. bulk purchases at the end of the Scheme Period* and / or seeking to refund such products following the end of the Scheme Period*;  (will require the written agreement of a Wienerberger Director)

  20. Your Company or any of its directors, officers or owners or the Attendee(s) have been convicted of a criminal offence of any kind other than a minor road traffic offence.

  21. The actual reward may only be attended by the owner or key stakeholder of your Company.  Once your Company has confirmed the selected Attendee(s), the Attendee(s) list cannot be changed or altered. The Attendee(s) hereby confirm that they are happy to receive communications and provide information when requested relevant to administering the reward and this will be deemed by the Attendee(s) to be a legitimate interest for personal data processing activities associated with VIP Rewards.

  22. The reward may be subject to restrictions specified by our selected third party suppliers; e.g. participants must hold a valid passport or must not be subject to a restriction such as a football banning order or similar. It is each Attendee(s) responsibility to ensure that they qualify to attend and/or can participate in the reward. Individual Attendee(s) may be required to agree to further terms and conditions specified by our selected third party suppliers to take part in certain VIP Reward experiences.

  23. Your invitation includes where appropriate: Group return flights from designated airports to the European Reward destination (economy), group transfers (European destination side), single occupation accommodation (unless otherwise stated) and standard room (unless otherwise stated), with breakfast and any excursions, lunches & dinners if stated in the final itinerary.

  24. Any additional extras, charges (including but not limited to additional personal requirements) or liabilities (including but not limited to personal tax liabilities) which arise or are required as a consequence of attending the reward will be the attendee(s)’ sole responsibility and are not included in the reward package. Also the Attendees shall be solely liable for all additional costs, charges and liabilities arising from any changes to the reward or reward package which were requested by the Attendees.

  25. What isn’t included: UK accommodation (unless part of the reward), airport parking, connection flights, upgrades to flights, administration fees for flight name changes when names are confirmed with the airline, upgrades for accommodation, extra accommodation outside of the reward, room incidentals. If Attendee(s) choose to book their own flights directly and not with the third party agency no cash alternative will be given for flights; transfers are not included if your flight is not with the group.

  26. Travel insurance is not included in any package. It is the responsibility of each Attendee to ensure that they have the relevant insurance pertaining to their activity.

  27. In the unlikely occurrence that the reward or experience or occasion is cancelled or postponed for any circumstances beyond Wienerberger’s control, there will be no entitlement to any claim against Wienerberger or its third party agency or suppliers and Wienerberger or its third party agency or suppliers excludes all liability whatever for any costs, expenses, damages, liability, injury or disappointment suffered by the Attendee(s) arising out of or in any way connected with for such cancellation or postponement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  28. Attendance of the reward is taken at the Attendee(s)’ own risk and Wienerberger and its third party agency excludes all liability whatever for any costs, expenses, damages, liability, injury or disappointment suffered by the Attendee(s) or your Company arising out of or in any way connected with an event other than those costs and expenses specifically provided for in the event (if any) provided that nothing in these Terms excludes any liability for:

    1. death or personal injury arising out of Wienerberger’s negligence or the negligence of its employees;

    2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by Wienerberger or its employees; or

    3. any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

    4. By accepting the VIP Rewards Terms and Conditions, your Company has agreed to participate in VIP Rewards and to receive marketing communication relevant to VIP Rewards.

  29. We share personal data with our third-party agency who are appointed to manage the scheme on our behalf, and we put contractual arrangements and security mechanisms in place with the agency to protect members’ data and to comply with data protection policy.  Your Company’s details, along with associated contact details, will be disclosed to third party agencies for the purpose of administering VIP Rewards and this will be deemed by the associated contact(s) to be a legitimate interest associated with VIP Rewards.

  30. All attendee(s) consent to Wienerberger using images taken at relevant VIP Rewards events, captured in video recordings, and/or photographs, taken/recorded by or on behalf of Wienerberger for marketing and publicity related purposes and to their use in other Wienerberger publications. These may be published on social media channels or on the Wienerberger website, other websites or elsewhere. Images will be held in accordance with the GDPR guidelines (the General Data Protection Regulation); the images captured in the video recordings and/or photographs will be the copyright of Wienerberger UK Ltd and any other intellectual property which arises in the photographs/recordings will also belong to Wienerberger; the images will be held by Wienerberger for as long as deemed appropriate and relevant, and for a maximum of ten years; all property rights in such photographs and/or recordings are irrevocably assigned to Wienerberger and all rights in an attendee(s) performance in the film and/or recordings are waived to Wienerberger; attendee(s) can ask Wienerberger to stop using such images at any time, in which case efforts will be taken to prevent them being used in future digital and offline publications but they may continue to appear in publications already in circulation. If the recording captures attendee(s) speaking (e.g. an interview, presenting information, etc.), attendee(s) also agree to only include any material in the recording which is the intellectual property (including copyright) of another party, if attendee(s) have permission or a licence to do so and irrevocably licenceWienerberger to use and sub-licence any copyright in the words spoken (once fixed by the recording).

  31. VIP Rewards may be altered or withdrawn by Wienerberger without prior notice subject to Wienerberger trading conditions.

  32. To participate in VIP Rewards, your Company must confirm agreement to these terms and conditions when registering for the scheme.

  33. The Rewards on the Scheme are held on set dates in 2022 and cannot be changed. Full details will be provided separately.

  34. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

  35. VIP Rewards is operated by Wienerberger Ltd, Wienerberger House, Brooks Drive, Cheadle Royal Business Park, Cheadle, Cheshire, SK8 3SA.
